TNP’s core mission has always been to help serve communities better through representation at tables where decisions are made; at nonprofit board tables. Much like during the pandemic, we are stepping up to these challenging times by focusing on matching organizations with leaders of color and allies that are inspired and motivated to help keep doors open and a navigate through uncertainty. As a community and through board leadership, we can help nonprofit organizations and board prospect leaders connect during a historic time of instability and fear. Of course, we know the importance of board representation is vital for organizations and helping them meet their missions.
It is for these reasons that we are asking and inviting board leaders (whether you’re new or have experience serving on boards) to MEET THE MOMENT. We need board leaders like you, now more than ever! Are you a Justice or Legal Advocate? Can you support nonprofits with understanding the changes they need to make internally with HR and Operations?? Can you help nonprofits with communicating to their donors and communities being served around the changes and mandates? These are the board roles we’re seeking, among others, that can help our communities and nonprofits navigate through mandates, executive orders and changes needed to keep supporting the most vulnerable in our communities.
