TNP invites you to sign up for a workshop focused on leading through a cultural conscious perspective.

The Equity Chair workshop is designed to prepare, support and elevate new and experienced board members of color, and allies, for their roles as governing members on nonprofit boards. 

This training is focused on disrupting board norms and learning how to navigate mainstream nonprofits through a cultural conscious perspective. Main topics include: culturally relevant leadership, speaking your truth, confronting tokenism, among others. 

At the end of this workshop, participants will have a better understanding and knowledge base as to how to better serve on boards and continue to support our mission as new philanthropists.

Part 2 of the Equity Chair workshop is designed to help participants take active roles as inclusive leaders in order to engage board members in diversity, equity and inclusion practices and values. 

This training is focused on understanding the characteristics of an inclusive leader and how to create cultural shifts on your board through your leadership. Main topics include: racial equity and why it matters, navigating majority culture, leaving your legacy on a board..etc.

At the end of this workshop, participants will have a better understanding and knowledge base as to how to better serve on boards and continue to support our mission as new philanthropists.
