TNP welcomes New Board Member, Kali Adams!

The New Philanthropists are proud to welcome Kali Adams to our Board of Directors. A lifelong Austinite and dedicated public servant, Kali brings a wealth of experience in driving systems-level change rooted in social justice, community building, and a person-centered approach. Her career has been defined by a deep commitment to eliminating homelessness across Texas, and her strategic leadership continues to shape more equitable outcomes for communities statewide.

Kali’s passion for inclusive leadership and civic transformation aligns powerfully with TNP’s mission. “I’m thrilled to be joining the TNP Board!” she shared. “Having grown up in Austin, I’m deeply passionate about helping our city grow into a better, stronger community for all of its people—and TNP is doing just that.” Her belief in the ripple effect of diverse boards underscores the heart of our work: “When nonprofits are led by diverse and inclusive boards, they have stronger, more impactful programs. Across every sector of nonprofit, TNP is building a network of more inclusive, responsive, and effective organizations that in turn strengthen our whole community.”

At a time when DEI efforts are being challenged and dismantled, Kali’s voice and leadership are more vital than ever. “I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to deepen my commitment to this essential work,” she added. “I look forward to diving in and connecting with more of the incredible TNP community!” Her presence on the board strengthens our collective resolve to champion equity, amplify underrepresented voices, and build lasting change through inclusive philanthropy.

We’re energized by Kali’s vision and excited for the impact she’ll make as part of our leadership team. You can learn more about her work and advocacy on LinkedIn.
