Announcement from TNP’s Board of Directors

Dear TNP Community,

We hope the start of 2026 finds you all well. We’re writing to connect with the community about the upcoming leadership transition at The New Philanthropists. As you may know, our Executive Director, Paulina Artieda, is planning to conclude her role as executive director this summer. While we’ll miss Paulina’s daily presence and leadership, we’re also excited to support her as she embarks on her next chapter.

Paulina has been part of TNP since the beginning, first as a founding board member and eventually as our first executive director. Her leadership, dedication, and rooted connection within the Austin community has empowered TNP to grow and thrive, even in the face of unprecedented circumstances for the nonprofit community and external challenges to the important work of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. We are deeply grateful for all that Paulina has done for TNP and we celebrate her as she begins a new adventure, knowing that she’ll always be part of TNP family.

As we look to the future, we are committed to ensuring a thoughtful and intentional transition process. We’re excited to partner with GoodCitizen to conduct a comprehensive search in alignment with our values to help us find TNP’s next Executive Director. GoodCitizen brings deep expertise in nonprofit leadership transitions, and we’re confident that this partnership will help us identify a leader who will build upon the strong foundation Paulina has established and guide TNP into its next phase of growth and impact.

We’ll keep you informed throughout the search process and transition timeline. If you have questions about the process or community feedback you’d like to share, please reach out to Kevin at Kevin@goodcitizen.com In the meantime, please join us in thanking Paulina for her extraordinary contributions to our community and wishing her well on her next adventure.

With gratitude and excitement for what’s ahead,
The TNP Board of Directors
